I plan on flying from Charleston, SC into Bangkok, Thailand and meeting up with one of my college roommate's, Keels. We will likely spend 3-4 days there to allow me to get adjusted to the culture. We will try to network with some backpackers, get travel visas, and check out the Thai sights... (mui thai kickbocking, cobra show, pingpong show are some options)
From Bangkok we are going to head north or east and see more of Thailand. From there we will go to Laos and try to stay there for 2-3 weeks and go North. (I've heard the best reviews of laos...super laid back, not too touristy.) With whatever time I have left we will try to swing back through Northern Vietnam and see how far we can get down the coast before I have to fly back to Bangkok to catch my flight back to the "real world".
